Yesterday, I visited two homeless encampments at 14th & Pine downtown and North Market & Spring, despite the downpour that made the weather a bit cooler, highlighting the importance of remembering our unhoused is important. One Silverstar Community Food Outreach distributed 50 bags of care items, including water, food, sanitary napkins, soap, toothpaste, and snacks, through a collaborative effort with Guardian Angel Settlement and the Buchanan Foundation INC.
