In the face of the current crisis, numerous outstanding individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership. One Silverstar Community outreach actively contributed to the relief efforts, creating a lasting impact. Our main focus was the Branscome Apartments, where we provided food and power for wheelchairs and phones. The success of this initiative relied heavily on the collaboration of various organizations; we are grateful for the generous support from Guardian Angel Settlement Association, Schnucks, Alleluia Baskets, and Pop’s Fish and Chicken. One Silverstar Community Outreach service the Branscome Apartments today still has no power. There’s a huge issue that is not being addressed unfortunately and that is at least in this senior building it has 8 floors we discovered 8 was stranded in their apartments. When food was dropped off of course they were missed. So make sure you go door to door when serving the senior buildings.
