Disaster Relief

I was without phone and Internet service yesterday and part of today. I was called to rescue food in which would not have been hard to get rid of. As we were getting ready to clear the refrigerators the power came back on thank you God. However at my location was not the case the refrigerator had to be cleared and I took it to the emergency rescue shelter South Tucker Street. And then proceeded on in the West end to only witness with my naked eyes the devastation of the storm not only was it heartbreaking to see so many historical homes destroyed it was the people that one stayed there cleaning up their home. Driving on fountain Street there were two old couples sitting on their porch in their rocking chairs rocking back and forth while a tree was laying straight in the middle of their home I can’t describe how and what I felt seeing that. There was emergency bags filled with battery packs,  phone charger, flashlights, snacks, water passed out the the people in the neighborhood.
