One Silverstar Community Food Outreach took initiative by providing fresh produce, assorted pastries, and bread to more than 75 of our senior community at the Parkview Apartments. The warm smiles and expressions of gratitude were truly heartwarming. A significant portion of our senior population relies heavily on others for essential shopping needs due to various factors, particularly residing in food desert neighborhoods following the tornado. All of the proceeds are a collaboration with St. Anthony’s of Padua Food Pantry and the Guardian Angel Settlement. This is what Community looks like.
